Trip to Maine

Well, the same day Amanda left our house was the same day we left to drive up to Maine.  We went to go up for Josh's Grandma Cobb's memorial service.  Not a reason we would like to have to visit Maine, but one we were honored to go to Maine for.

Here is a picture Josh, his Grandad Cobb, and his Uncle David.

This is a picture of His Grandmother.  She was such a loving and wonderful women. Listening to all that was said about her really gave me a greater appreciation of what a great women she was.  She will be missed.

This is at the burial site.  Everyone was give a rose and they each came up and placed it gently on the urn.

They really were placed so well.  The Rose's just encased the whole urn completely and made a beautiful sight.

It was a very nice service and nice to see such respect and love for Grandma Cobb.  Thanks everyone for all you did to bring the whole service together so well.

Now, I'll address the rest of the days we were in Maine.

We did get to spend a few extra with all the family.

This is Grandpa Cobb (Great-Grandpa to these kids!!) with our four children.  It's amazing they were all looking at the camera!!  We enjoy spending time with Grandad.  He is such a great man and we just love visiting with him.

The next day we spent with Josh's Dad.  We went to this lake somewhere in Maine!!  The kids could touch for quite a ways out and the babies just LOVED it!!  They really love being in the water.

They both just swam and swam and jumped and jumped off of the platform in the middle of the shallow area.

Addison loved being able to touch and be more independent.  She was alot of fun to watch.  She so precious!!

We got to stay with Josh's Mom, so the kids also got to stay and play there during the memorial service and we got to hang out with the cousins on that side.  It was nice to be able to visit with everyone and enjoy so much time with everyone.  Thank you everyone who fed us, entertained us and housed us.  We really appreciated it all!!!
