Man vs Bird and Man vs Tree

Ok, I lied. This is the last post before tomorrow's big day.

Thanksgiving was pretty fun. Josh's Mom is here, and she has had a lot of fun with the kids making so many treats. It was also helpful after the meal was over because she was able to guilt Josh into picking the meat off of the bird. He doesn't really care for such things, but with an Australian accent he proceeded to do just fine by providing a play by play of "Man vs Bird". Quite funny really. Here are the pictures Evan took of him.

I don't know who is winning here.

This is later on in the day. I wanted the tree to be done before I went in to have the babies. This is Josh trying to conquer the lights.
Man vs Tree

For some reason eating cookies while preparing to put lights up was a must.

He did eventually win both battles. I think to keep up the winning streak, though, he will have to train a little harder next year!!

PS. Tomorrow morning at 9am eastern time I will be having a much anticipated c-section. YEAH!!!

one more post before the babies

Yes, I am posting something besides the arrival of the twins. . . hasn't happened yet so really no other choice!! I just have a really cute family and really, really cute kids, so I have to share all their cuteness.

Evan really is a GREAT helper. This is him mopping the floor last weekend. He really had fun though because it is one of those sweeper wet jets, and he got to keep pushing the button and seeing the spray come out. He thought it was cool.

This is what cute boys look like while you decorate for Christmas and they find fun stuff in the Christmas boxes.

This is one of only two pictures you get that had to do with my birthday. Evan was in charge of the camera, and did a great job, but I wasn't looking so hot so, you get to look at others who do!! What a handsome husband I have!!

And what a cute boy I have. I love that he is taking his own picture! I don't know where he gets that from! :)

Well, that is all for now. I can think of one other post I COULD do that involves cute pictures drawn of a robotic octopus and birthday presents, but then I would have to scan one more thing, and honestly, I'm pretty tired these days!!

Only 6 more days to go!! Black Friday, here I come. I hope the hospital isn't that crowded. . .

Evan's Kindergarten concert

Evan had his first music concert this past week. He did good and was cute the whole time. I posted one of his many songs that they sang.

My helpful 5 year old

So, one day while I was gone Josh asked Evan to do the dishes. He did them and even did a pretty good job. Well, this is his third time doing them, and I was actually home. He did a great job, and is really a great helper.

It works having the water running a little because he's not one for getting his hands dirty or touching dirty things. I think it made the task easier.

Video of Evan in action!!
