One of the first big project we had to get on was building a fence for the chickens. They were outgrowing the basement really fast!! Josh did a great job building the fence area, and engineering a fence. It turned out very well and the chickens love their new space!! The kids also love the space and being in there with the Chickens. We have found that it is actually a very good kid pen as well!! If only chickens could babysit!! :) The chickens are all still alive and the kids are getting used to not chasing them or hitting them. The chickens are getting used to being spoiled by all the food we come and feed them!! I think this will be a great relationship!

Arriving at our house!!
It was great to finally arrive at our house!! Grandpa Cobb was there and was able to take pictures of us as we drove up and into the drive. It was fun and having him to help was really nice. Thanks Grandpa for all you did!! We really loved having you here!
Our stop in Nauvoo, IL
Nauvoo was fun. We went to the temple and to the Visitor Center. We got to go on a carriage ride out into the country side. The whole time the Senior Missionary told us story's of the time and of the places we passed. It was also really fun to see. We also got to go see the Joseph Smith House and the Smith Cemetery. I saw the grave stones of Joseph, Hyrum, Emma, Joseph Sr, and Lucy Mack Smith. Why I never thought about them as existing I don't know. I don't really think I had actually ever thought about it before. Anyway, it was fun. Especially the day off!!
Our Stop in Carthage Jail!
I really enjoyed our break from driving for a day! We went over to Carthage and then onto Nauvoo. I enjoyed Carthage very much. It has a unique spirit about the place. I can't believe I actually saw the room where the Prophet once sat, were John Taylor sang, and were they all awaited for the unknown event about to happen. I don't really have adequate words to describe what it was like for me. I really enjoyed it though. If you ever get a chance to go, do.
Ok, Ok, Ok, Here are all the updates with picts.!!
Well, this post doesn't have really to many picts, but I am now posting a ton!! Everything is going well here, and we are getting settled more and more everyday. Hopefully you will enjoy all the pictures and little comments about them. I do have one picture that we just love that I want to post. Actually, we really love it because we laugh everytime we see it!! We have no IDEA what Josh is doing, and I am having a hard time coming up with a good caption. . . so I would like your help. Please write a response to what you think the caption should be for this pict.

We have arrived!!!
Well, we arrived safe and sound. We actually had a great trip. We didn't have to drive through ANY weather, and our mini van pulled the trailer fine. It was nice to stay a day in Nauvoo. We got to see some of the sights as well as go over to Carthage. It was a really neat experience for me. When we arrived in NY Josh's dad was here to greet us. He helped a lot with the kids and even helped Josh start the railing. We have yet to finish it, but all the ballisters are up and we hope to finish soon!! It was really nice to see a familiar face right away as we arrived in such a not so familiar place. Thanks Grandpa Cobb! The kids had a lot of fun. We also were able to get some chicks. Josh is really happy about that. He goes down to the basement to talk to them, it is his happy place!! :) We are slowly getting things settled. I hope to be done completly by Sept. I would say sooner, but it feels like we have so much more to do still!! I will get pictures out as soon as I get more organized. Thanks for all your comments and your support. We miss you all and love you all very much. Please stay in touch!! And don't forget you are all always welcome in our home!
:)
