So, in a first for our family, a leprechaun came to visit our house for St. Patty's day! He was up to a lot of tricks. he left clues for the kids to follow from place to place. The first place was nice, it was a hug for Mom, the second took them to the shoes, which were all tied up together!! From there they ran back upstairs to see their clothes that he had put into a pile on the floor and pooped on!! Yes, this leprechaun pooped out green jelly beans! Couldn't believe it! Then it told them to go back down to see if he ever found the potty, in a feat of magic, they saw that he had made a mess all over the floor in the kitchen downstairs with his jelly bean poop, but then found this in the potty!!
Glad he finally made it! Like his little feet prints on the toilet seat? Addison couldn't believe her eyes. She was so funny looking at this!! Then the kids were led to a decoy pot of Gold, or so we figured out later! It had in it green m&m's! The kids thought that was great!
The last note told them to beware for the leprechaun may still have played tricks they hadn't found yet. Sure enough, we went to use the milk, and it was green!!
That obviously led to us eating green pancakes for breakfast. Silly leprechaun!!
The rest of the day was filled with many other busy activities and the leprechaun didn't get around to some of it's tricks it had planned (or so I assume!!), so I think overall we got off easy!! The kids really had a lot of fun, it was a good day.

SO cute! Someday I might get ambitious to do something fun for St Patrick's Day, but it didn't happen this year:) But I might steal some of your ideas for the future:)
