Valentines 2012

So Valentine's 2012 was a great holiday!!  Our dear friend and occasional babysitter Jim Zimmer came over on the Friday before Valentines and Josh and I got to go out on a date!!!  That hasn't happened for so long I can't remember when the last time was!  We went out to dinner and then to see the Phantom Menace in 3D.  It was nice and super fun!!

For Sunday dinner I created these wonderful heart shaped strawberry shortcakes.  They were SO GOOD!!!

 On Monday night I got to set out all the love I had out for the kids!  They love coming down the stairs to surprises.  It was fun.

                                                   
                                                     We ate doughnuts for breakfast,

                               and Chocolate covered strawberries and red velvet cake balls,

                                                    and heart shaped pancakes for dinner.

We had friends over to eat with us, and to help us break the pinata.  I did have more video's of the pinata fun, but they won't load. . . so maybe I'll try later.  At least you can see what this years pinata looked like, and how Addison and Andrew didn't know what to do.  They figured it out pretty quick.  It was loads of fun!

This is just a random picture of Addison with two sets of goggles on.  She is so silly.  I just had to put it in because it is so funny!!
