Should have posted this four days ago. . .

I should have posted these four days ago, but since Josh is gone to a conference it just hasn't happened. So here is all the cuteness of my kids!

Evan and Brayden were pounding on the game with Andrew. They were really bonding as brothers. Eventually Addison came over to see what all the fun was, but all she wanted to do was climb on the thing, not bang on it.

We had corn on the cob from our garden and I thought "why not give my babies an ear of corn?" So I did and they LOVED it!! It was also really great for us because they stayed occupied with the corn for quite awhile.

This is probably one of my most favorite pictures of Andrew. I LOVE the look on his face and that smile. He loves the camera and loves to smile while I take pictures. He is such a sweetie, and SO HANDSOME!!

This is the video we have all been waiting for. . . and the one thing that really should have been posted four days ago. Andrew is now crawling!! He was doing a funny crawl before but once he figured out the real thing there has been no stopping him! He is everywhere now! Addison and Andrew both love to follow me as far as they can and then they stop, stand, and yell mom, mom, mom over and over until I com back. So funny and sometimes pretty loud!

What is up. . .?

Addison, that's what. She just wasn't content with crawling so she learned to pull herself up. Funny thing, though, she also never took the time to learn to sit very well so when she plops, she plops all the way down which causes her to cry. Funny girl.

Not to be out done, Andrew decided to learn this trick also. In fact, he learned it today. I updated the blog and two hours later edited it so I could add this picture. He actually can sit a little better though, so he hasn't plopped past a sit. Cute kids.

On another note:
Andrew, got his first tooth!! So happy about that. If you look closely at his mouth you can see it!

He is working on learning to crawl and almost has it down. I'm sure in the next week or so a video of him will be posted! Addison will have her first tooth in in the next couple of days, I can see it now, just not feel it!

Addison's Talents

Addison has a couple of really cute talents that I thought I would share.

The first is her tongue. It never stops. Have you ever seen such a cute tongue? or one that moves this much? some say it is in preparation for all the talking she will be doing. . . oh well, we love it and think it is FABULOUS!! Besides, isn't it so fast?

This is us trying to capture Addison crawling. She cheats. Love her.

Now, here is the real winner of all videos. Hidden here at the end of this blog is ADDISON'S FIRST CRAWLING VIDEO!!! We got it, and it is one of her first few crawls ever. Josh will even see this for the first time here. . . enjoy honey wish you had been here, but isn't this GREAT!! or not. . . I'm in for a real circus soon. Hopefully Andrew will take his time getting to this point, but I doubt it. Anyway, here it is:
ADDISON CRAWLING!!

Andrew - the musical instrument

I think this video is self explanatory, but just in case. . . this is Andrew laughing while his Dad uses him as an instrument. Cute.

Zucchini Anyone?

So, we got our first crop of Zucchini from our garden. They were huge!! We had fun chopping them up for the freezer and shredding them for Zucchini bread!! Love Zucchini bread!

Evan was the washer of the Zucchini.

They were big for him and sometimes he had a hard time handling them, but he did it.

Evan was shredding, but Brayden wanted a try. . .

I did it in the end.

Josh's rice plants

Here is a picture of Josh and his rice plants. They are three weeks old. He will harvest them at six weeks old on August 2nd. He will take the roots and collect the data he needs. Hopefully he will get what he needs. Good luck honey!!

Storyland/Maine Trip part 2

So, for the second part of our "escape from Ithaca" trip we made it to Maine. We got there on Thursday night and on Friday we jumped in the van and headed to the coast. I've visited Maine now a few times. Not once have I made it to the coast. This time I decided that wouldn't happen. So off we went. We went to a place that Josh remembered as a child - Perry's Nut House. It's just a shop with a lot of little trinkets and things to look at. The kids had fun looking around. . . maybe not as much as Josh, but it was fun.

Next we stopped, got some lunch and headed off to a park. Thank goodness Grandma Moxcey was with us. . . she knew right where to go. The park was right by the ocean and so we took our blanket down on the rocky beach and ate lunch. This was my favorite part of it all. I love the ocean. Cute Addison made it through all of Storyland without getting sun burnt. One hour at the beach and her little arms did get a little red, but they weren't too bad, they cleared up in a day or two. She is so cute.

Andrew enjoyed watching all the birds and just eating whatever we would give him. . . kinda like the birds!!

I finally braved the rocks and took my shoes and socks off to walk in the water. Brayden jumped at the chance to join me. He was so cute. I was showing him that we could bend over and put our hands in the water and he kept laughing and giggling. He thought it was cool we were in the ocean. He was cute though, he would bend down with his knees instead of his waist and so by the time he got out of the ocean his shorts were mostly wet. . . especially on his bum.

Evan saw we were having a lot of fun so despite his aversion to getting wet (previous post) he took his shoes off too and came in with us. This was such a great picture Josh captured of the two of them on our way out of the water.

I just had to include cute Addison. This is at Grandma Moxcey's place. She was nice enough to let us squish in and stay at the house.

This is Evan and Brayden enjoying the loot they got from their Grandpa and Grandma Cobb. Grandpa Cobb likes to go see what treasures he can find at the dollar store before each visit. He always comes away with great things. I never find such things at our dollar store.

On Sunday we had a Cobb reunion. We got together at a park and ate lunch and visited with family.

Great-Grandpa Cobb just loves these babies!! It was good he was able to hold them both at the same time. They are quite squirmy, but seemed to behave ok on his lap for the pictures!

This is Aunt Sue holding both babies. The babies were tired and ready for a nap.

After a short nap we were able to get some other great pictures taken. Here is Grandma and Grandpa Cobb with the babies.

Here is Grandma Cobb with both babies - both even smiley and cute!!

This is the whole clan minus about 3 people or so. It was good to see everyone.

Here is a cute quick video of the cute Addison squeals at the beach.
